This policy explains what personal information Mantle Tattoo ("we", "us") collects when you visit mantletattoo.com, send us a booking request, or book an appointment, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. What we collect
Information you give us
- Booking requests. When you fill out our booking form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and the details you share about your tattoo idea (style, size, placement, reference images and notes).
- Messages. If you text, call, email or message us on social media, we keep that conversation so we can answer you.
- Appointments and payments. When you book, we keep your name, contact details, appointment dates and the service you booked. Deposits and payments are processed by Square. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Studio paperwork. Consent and release forms you complete for your appointment are used only for your appointment and our legal record-keeping. They are never used for advertising.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our analytics and advertising tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at our site (for example, a search or an ad), your approximate location based on IP address, your device and browser type, and whether you sent a booking request.
How we use it
- To reply to your booking request, plan your tattoo, schedule and remind you of appointments, and take deposits and payments.
- To answer your questions and provide aftercare follow-up when you ask for it.
- To understand how people use our website and improve it.
- To measure which ads lead to booking requests, and to show our ads to people who have visited our site or are past clients (see "Advertising" below).
- To keep records we're required to keep by law and to protect our business against fraud.
We only text or email you about your request and your appointments unless you ask to hear from us about anything else.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with service providers that help us run the studio, and only for that purpose:
- Leverage Local, which runs our website and booking form (the form is hosted at local.mantletattoo.com).
- Square, for appointments, deposits and payments.
- Google, for website analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google Ads), as described below.
- Our website host and performance services (Kinsta and NitroPack), which store and deliver the website.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
Advertising
We use Google Ads to reach people looking for a tattoo in Los Angeles.
- Conversion measurement. Google's tag on our site tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads sends a booking request. This helps us stop paying for ads that don't work.
- Remarketing. We may show ads to people who have visited our website, on Google Search, YouTube, Gmail and partner sites.
- Customer lists (Google Customer Match). We may upload the email addresses and phone numbers of past clients to Google so we can show them our ads, or so we can avoid showing ads to people who are already clients. Before upload, this information is converted into a secure, unreadable code (hashed) on our side. Google uses it only to match it to Google accounts for our ads, under its Customer Match policies. We never upload tattoo details, photos, health information or payment information.
Your choices: you can turn off personalized ads from Google at adssettings.google.com, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser. To be left out of our customer lists, email info@mantletattoo.com and we'll remove you from future uploads.

Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so our website does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. You can still use the choices above.
How long we keep it
We keep booking requests and client records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Website analytics data is deleted automatically under our Google Analytics retention setting.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that's wrong;
- delete your information, unless we're required to keep it;
- stop using your information for advertising, including customer list uploads.
Email info@mantletattoo.com or text 323.395.0049. We'll confirm who you are before acting on a request and reply within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
Children
Our services are for adults. California law doesn't allow tattooing anyone under 18, and our website isn't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access limited to staff who need it, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send card numbers or sensitive health details through the booking form or by text.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we'll make that clear on this page.
