Mantle Tattoo is a custom tattoo studio at 705 S Olive St, a block from Pershing Square in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. We've been tattooing in DTLA since 2020. Our artists work across fine line, delicate, script, realism, traditional and neo-traditional styles, so whatever you have in mind, there's someone here who specializes in it.

Right in the middle of Downtown
Our studio sits at 7th and Olive, between the Financial District and the Historic Core, with the Jewelry District, Fashion District and South Park all a short walk away. That makes us an easy stop before or after work downtown, between errands on Broadway, or on a night out in South Park.

Getting here
By Metro. 7th Street/Metro Center (A, B, D and E Lines) and Pershing Square (B and D Lines) are both a few minutes' walk away. If you're coming from Pasadena or Long Beach, the A Line runs straight to 7th Street/Metro Center with no transfer.
Parking. Metered street parking is sometimes available out front, depending on the time of day. There are also several paid garages and lots within a block, including all-day options from about $10. Give yourself a few extra minutes at peak hours.
How booking works
We're appointment-only, but same-day requests are often possible. Text us or send an appointment request and we'll usually reply within about 20 minutes.
- Tell us your idea. Use the appointment request or text 323.395.0049. Photos of references, placement and rough size help us match you with the right artist.
- Get an estimate. Estimates depend on the final design, size and placement. If you have a firm budget, we'll help simplify the design to fit it.
- Lock in your time. A $100 deposit holds your appointment and goes toward the cost of the tattoo. See our deposit policy for rescheduling details.
- Get tattooed, then heal well. Follow our aftercare guide. If anything heals lighter than intended, touch-ups are free within the first year.

Pricing
Our shop minimum is $150. It reflects single-use, disposable equipment on every tattoo, our free one-year touch-up policy, and the standard of work we put our name on. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal and Cash App.

Do you take walk-ins?

How much is a deposit?
